Patrick performed in most of the jazz clubs and fine hotels in San Antonio and Austin. He now lives, performs, teaches, and composes in Asheville, NC.
His solo performances consist of Jazz Standards - Gershwin, Cole Porter, Mercer - mixed with originals. He considers Bill Evans his biggest influence.
Patrick also enjoys accompanying singers, playing in duos with guitarists or bassists, trios, and collaborating with old friend Tom Law (www.bigsphinx.com) in "weird music" concerts.
Patrick has composed hundreds of pieces including a string quartet, an opera, a setting for chamber group and 3 actors (The Book of Ed), chamber trios, many piano pieces, and vocal pieces. Five of his originals were performed in the Asheville Ballet's Winterdance, January, 2006.
Patrick is an active member in the Asheville Area Piano Forum.
He is available for parties, wedding receptions and ceremonies, and club dates.
